Pear with Honey and Ginger Preserves
Produced by a husband and wife duo in Madison, Wisconsin, Quince & Apple is a line of small-batch preserves and syrups made with fresh Midwest-grown ingredients. Every step of the process is done by hand, from peeling and slicing the produce, to filling and labeling the jars. Well-balanced and not too sweet, these preserves are made with pears, apples, local honey and grated ginger. It’s my go-to pairing for sharp cheddar or a wedge of triple-crème brie, and I can’t help but slather it on a warm buttery croissant.
