Bourbon Barrel Spicy Kentuckyaki
Made by Bourbon Barrel Foods, this Kentucky-style teriyaki sauce is a life saver for time poor home cooks looking to add bold flavor and complexity to a fast weeknight dinner. I first discovered Bourbon Barrel Foods a few years ago when filming a show in Louisville, and I was instantly impressed by their unique process and the quality of their products. Microbrewed in small batches, their signature soy sauce is made from Kentucky-grown soy beans, fermented and aged in re-purposed bourbon barrels. That incredible soy sauce makes up the backbone of Kentuckyaki. Flavored with fresh garlic and ginger, and sweetened with Kentucky sorghum, they've added red pepper to give this sauce some heat! Use it to marinate or glaze salmon, beef and chicken, or simply add it to an easy stir-fry.
