Clanton's Cafe T-Shirt - Gray
Stretching from Chicago to California, Route 66 is the most historic road in the country, an emblem of the American dream. During this season, we traveled a stretch of the iconic highway in Oklahoma, stopping at Clanton’s Café in Vinita. Open since 1927, this fourth-generation family-run restaurant is world famous for chicken fried steak, making more than 50,000 portions a year. Because of their location in the heart of cattle country, it’s no surprise they also have a reputation for calf fries, aka deep fried bull’s testicles. It just wouldn't be right to film along this route without something a little bizarre.
